Win rate alone doesn't tell you everything. For each pattern, we checked something more specific: historically, does the price move toward its target first, or toward its stop-loss first? We tested this against 288,736 real historical outcomes before trusting it.
Every stock has moved a certain way historically for a given seasonal window — target-first or stop-loss-first. We measured, out of sample, whether following that historical tendency actually predicted the outcome.
